MEDITERRANEAN BIODIVERSITY PARK
Dedicated to Mediterranean flora and fauna, this park is home to an “Italian-style” botanical garden, covering over 100,000 square meters. Inside, there are about 20,000 hedge plants, 2,000 tall stems, 200 tree species and 100 aquatic species. There is also a historical military museum, an area for skating, a playground on over 3,000 square meters, a labyrinth, a pond with swans and 3 trails for hikers.
THE CUPE VALLEYS
Considered among the most evocative naturalistic sites of the whole Calabria, the Cupe Valleys will surprise you with waterfalls in uncontaminated places, canyons, breath-taking views on gorges and crags and a flora and fauna heritage of the highest value. You can book guided tours, donkey and horseback rides and specialist courses for tourists and enthusiasts.
THE GREENHOUSES PARK
It is a natural and protected area, between the Aspromonte and the Sila, and crossed by 2 long mountain ranges, large woods and streams with waterfalls. The animals that inhabit it are varied, from deer to wolves, from foxes to wild cats, with a great variety of birds, including peacocks, hawks, woodpeckers and owls. Inside the park, there are numerous paths and interesting points of interest, all to be discovered.
